New Delhi, Mar 12 (ANI): Mexican Foreign Minister Claudia Ruiz Massieu said the American country preferred a “compromise formula” over reforms in U.N. Security Council to make it more effective. Massieu made her comments while addressing the Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA), a government think-tank, in capital New Delhi. Mexico is among a group of countries called "United for Consensus" (UFC) which aims to counter the bids for permanent seats proposed by G4 nations (India, Brazil, Germany, and Japan). Massieu is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with her Indian counterpart Sushma Swaraj on Saturday.
