SYL row: Ex-Haryana CM seeks President’s rule in Haryana, Punjab

Chandigarh, Mar 18 (ANI): Former Haryana Chief Minister B.S. Hooda on Thursday said he met President Pranab Mukherjee to discuss the situation of Sutlej-Yamuna link canal and demanded President’s rule in both Haryana and Punjab. Hooda added the bill passed by the Punjab government on SYL issue is a contempt of court, adding that the Khattar government is incapable to handle the situation.
