Dehradun, Mar 18 (ANI): A delegation of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders led by party leaders Bhagat Singh Koshyari and Ramesh Pokhriyal on Friday met Uttarakhand Director General of Police BS Sidhu over the arrest of party MLA Ganesh Joshi in Dehradun. Asserting that no prior permission is required for apprehension of any MLA in a criminal case, the DGP said the probe will be initiated further on the same. The BJP MLA from Mussoorie, was arrested Friday morning for allegedly beating up a police horse Shaktimaan, reportedly breaking one of its legs, during a protest against Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat on Monday for misuse of funds.
