Ludhiana, Mar 22 (ANI): Excitement was palpable in Mullanpur Village, located in Ludhiana city. Villagers had gathered for inauguration of a mosque, that had remained shut since 1947. It was inaugurated by the Shahi Imam, Punjab, who later offered namaz at the shrine. The event presented a remarkable show of harmony and brotherhood, where, Hindus, Sikhs and Muslims contributed to the renovation of a mosque. The mosque comes as a relief to the lone Muslim family in the village, along with others who had to travel long distances to offer namaz. The villagers swear by unity and harmony, which are also base the foundation of this village. Indians have a unique ability to keep their individualism intact, even as they gel with the rest of the society effortlessly.
