Dramatic footage of a fire raging at a quarry in New Zealand that was used as the backdrop of the final battle scene in Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers.

The video, filmed overnight at Dry Creek Quarry, shows the blaze raging near a road, while a water vehicle arrives on the scene to help firefighters.

According to local reports, one person received smoke inhalation injuries after the blaze broke out at around 8.30am. It was contained by 11am but still wasn't fully extinguished.
