About Resident Evil HD Remaster
Voice: Japanese, English
Subtitles: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese
Features Support both English & Japanese subtitle and voice, language is base on PS3 system language. description Based on the original title of the same name for the PlayStation and taking elements from the stunning Gamecube remake, this upgraded version will now run at modern standards: 720p running at 30 frames per second with 5.1 surround sound support, and the option between 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios. And while the above mentioned is merely cosmetic, the graphical leap is as intense as the harrowing jump scares Resident Evil is known for; Capcom has insured that every single room has been given a polygonal make-over - flames and moving objects from the original that used to be videos playing in the background such as flames have now been replaced by dynamic lighting and individual textures for a fully realized survival atmosphere. Aside from remaking Resident Evil, players will also find on-disc many extra features for fans and newcomers alike. The current list of major updates include: Wesker's Report 1 + 2: a special DVD previously released for the PS2, featuing lore and cameo appearances. Bonus BSAA Costume Skins, featuring the modern iterations of Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine. New Japanese Voice recordings, as the original only contained English. Options to change game controls from Classic (tank) to a more modern approach. NOTE: This Playstation 3 game will play worldwide but if it includes any extra downloadable content (DLC) you need to open a (free) ASIA PSN account to access it.
The intense horror fans first experienced with the release of the original Resident Evil in 1996 is back in this HD remastering of the classic that improves on the praised 2002 "REmake". Taking place in the now notorious Raccoon City, players choose to take on the role of either S.T.A.R.S. (Special Tactics and Rescue Service) team member Chris Redfield or Jill Valentine who have been sent into the city to find the missing Bravo team. When the team is suddenly attacked by a ferocious group of mutated dogs, desperate for an escape they take shelter in the Mansion, but will they ever get out alive again? Players will need to be brave as they adventure through the dark, enclosed spaces searching out the horrors that await them. With limited ammo and survival items available gamers will need to keep their wits about them to survive the various traps and puzzles that greet them at every stage.
Enhanced for HD game platforms, resolutions and textures have been significantly upgraded, resulting in characters and backgrounds coming to life in greater detail than ever seen before in Resident Evil. Not only will the graphics impress but the tense sound effects have been fully remastered with 5.1 surround support for a greater gaming atmosphere. Players c
