Nepal, Mar 26 (ANI): The Madhesis in Nepal have intensified their protest under the banner of Sanghiya Samajwadi Forum Nepal (SSFN), demanding immediate release of the party's officials. 17 working officials including Madhesi youths and women members of the SSFN have been arrested so far for staging dharna against Maoist leader Prachanda. Thousands of Madhesi protestors show up on the road shouting slogans, promising to continue their agitation and enforce more blockades in Birgunj district of Nepal. Protests in Birgunj have been continuing from the past six months, hampering the social fabric of the country.
