Flamboyant Republican Presidential frontrunner Donald Trump has elaborated on his previous hot-button comments surrounding the building of a wall along the border of Mexico.Trump's stance on immigration has been heavily criticized by government officials and the public, raising questions as to whether there is anysubstance behind it.
In a two-page memo given to The Washington Post, the real estate mogul said he'd threaten to cut off remittances, or funds sent to Mexico through money transfers, which is a rule sanctioned under the USA Patriotism Act.
Trump continued by saying that the threat would be erased if Mexico paid $5-10 billion to pay for the border wall.
Transfer payments would then continue to flow into Mexico "year after year."
Experts believe his call for a wall is dubious because of the many obstacles he will have to hurdle.
