A new entry in the Hot Shots Golf series — or Minna no Golf, as it's known in Japan — is coming to PlayStation 4, president of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios Shuhei Yoshida announced today.
The "New Mingol Project" will leverage the power of the PlayStation 4 and its social features, Yoshida said. The game was said to feature an open-world game design, though Yoshida did not elaborate on what that meant for the 17-year-old brand.
The last game in the golfing franchise, Minna no Golf 6 or Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational, was released for PlayStation Vita and PS3.
