The final race in this career invitational series brings us to Imola. After two fifth place finishes I was sitting at joint third in the overall rankings and was looking for at least a podium finish here, a circuit with which I am a little more familiar.

Weather during qualifying was unpredictable with light showers on and off throughout the 15 minute session and I only managed to secure eighth on the grid but I knew, based on the previous rounds, that I could get off the line quickly so I lined up for the start felling reasonably confident.
