The rift between hard hitting director Puri Jagannadh and distributors of his former film Loafer has become the most controversial news as of now. However, few filmmakers have come to the rescue of Puri by supporting him but another controversial filmmaker Teja did not.

Teja said that he has given back the money to distributors whenever a film failed and it began with his film Dhairyam. He also said that permanent distributors are not available like earlier and it will be the responsibility of director to look after the well being of the distributor
