New Delhi, May 04 (ANI): President Pranab Mukherjee conferred veteran Bollywood actor Manoj Kumar with Dadasaheb Phalke award, the highest award in Indian cinema. Kumar was greeted by loud cheers when he arrived on a wheelchair to receive his award at a star-studded ceremony held at President's bungalow, Rashtrapati Bhawan. The 78-year-old began his career in 1957 and is known for featuring in films with patriotic themes like 'Upkar', 'Roti Kapda Aur Makaan', 'Kranti' and 'Shaheed'.
