Though Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton has spent time campaigning against Donald Trump and focusing very little on policy and her own experience, her campaign strategists ultimately hope to present a stark contract between her and the "loose cannon" Republican.
The strategy includes wonky appearances to discuss job creation, green energy and combating drug addiction in an effort to demonstrate, a senior aide said, that she would be a president “for everyone.”
Clinton began fortifying "the foundation for a general election narrative" long before her impending showdown with Trump, the aid said.
But the former Secretary of State isn't afraid of getting her hands dirty and slinging mud.
Clinton is anxiously waiting for her chance to relentless pursue Trump, just as he is starting to do with her.
