In this animated re-telling of the classic nursery rhyme, Old Mother Hubbard is the laundress for the king, but when she finds her cupboard bare, her dog travels to the palace where he winds up performing for the king.

This was the thirteenth in the series of 25 animated ComiColor Cartoons produced by the Ub Iwerks studio from 1933 to 1936.
