New Delhi/ Dehradun, May 09 (ANI): The Nainital High Court on Monday dismissed the petition of legislators seeking to vote in the confidence motion. The nine Congress MLAs had stood against their party on March 18 and supported the Bharatiya Janata Party by asking for a division of votes on the Appropriation Bill. Former chief minister and Congress leader Harish Rawat welcomed the court's order. Parliamentary Affairs Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu, on the other hand, lashed out at the Congress party saying that the grand old party is "practicing a new democracy followed by anti-democracy (kutantra)."
