Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who turns 50 today, is one of the reigning stars of the film industry, but it seems that during his TV acting days, he was adamant about not becoming a film actor!

Actress Renuka Shahane, who had shared screen space with Khan in TV serial Circus, revealed that during their 'Circus' days, SRK was totally against the idea of becoming a film actor and claimed to be happy being a TV actor. Shahane further added that he used to be quite amused with the way film stars were pampered on film sets and would often scoff at this practice.

Shah Rukh Khan will be next seen in YRF flick Fan and Rohit Shetty's Dilwale.
