Bernie Sanders is on the outside looking in when it comes to the amount of delegates he has tallied, compared to the total of Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton.
It's expected that Sanders will take the Oregon primary Tuesday, with Clinton taking Kentucky, though the former is no stranger to surprise wins as evidenced by his last victory in Indiana.
Looking ahead to what may be a contested convention in Philadelphia this July, Sanders' campaign is approaching it with a unique viewpoint.
“I would say that we are helping Hillary Clinton, as a matter of fact, assuming that she’s the nominee, and I think that Hillary Clinton is helping Bernie Sanders, assuming that he’s the nominee," Sanders' campaign manager Jeff Weaver told CNN.
