Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh, who will be seen playing the antagonist in upcoming film ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, which has been directed by Sooraj Barjatya and stars Salman Khan, informed recently that he fulfilled his mother’s 21-year-old dream by bagging this project.
Talking about his thoughts on starring in the film, Neil said, “I remember when we were young, me and my sister had gone with my mother to watch Hum Aapke Hain Koun and at the time, the movie-halls were housefull and a ticket was selling for Rs. 500! Though it was quite expensive at the time, mother finally bought the tickets for us and told me that I should repay her back by working with Sooraj and Salman someday. The day I bagged the role, I called up my mum and told her that her 21-year-old dream has finally come true!”
‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, which also stars Sonam Kapoor, is reportedly based on Mark Twain’s story ‘The Prince And The Pauper’.
