They cover Semiconductors, Chip Manufacturing Equipment, Materials and Electronics markets and talk about how rough 1Q16 was. One of the real problems was a rapid rise in semiconductor die bank inventories. They lowered their forecast to negative for the year and have concerns about the fourth quarter. The good news is that there are signs the semiconductor market has bottomed. OEM inventories of semiconductors are low. So it won’t take much of an uptick in end demand to bring growth back. Electronics prices have been on the rise, with PC and smartphones leading the way.
