New Delhi, June 10 (ANI): Nepal Deputy Prime Minister Kamal Thapa on Friday said that Nepal was going through difficult times but he was optimistic about the future of the Himalayan nation. Thapa, who was addressing a press conference in New Delhi, talked about issues related to the new Constitution and the internal situation of Nepal. Talking about the promulgation of Constitution, Thapa said that it will only contribute to his development of Nepal and does not discriminate on any basis. Thapa, who is on a three-day visit to India, called the country as an inspiration for Nepal. Thapa said that all major issues plaguing Nepal were being addressed. He said, to resolve the Madhesi issue, a political committee will be formed for recommending amendments in the Constitution. He also asked the Madhesi parties to join dialogue with the government, in order to resolve the issue at the earliest. Madhesis have been agitating for the past 6 months, demanding amendments in the New Constitution. They feel that their community has been neglected under the new constitution. Massive protests by the community in capital Kathmandu recently, had attracted a large number of people.
