The all-girl group Yegna has been inspiring Ethiopians for a few years now. Yegna means "ours" in Amharic, and their work aims at social change and female empowerment. The group's five members don't just make music. They also produce videos and perform in a radio drama and talk show. Their songs deal with reality: domestic violence, forced marriage and poverty - issues with which many girls in Ethiopia can identify.
