On today’s Climbing Daily were doing a bit of a news round up and a sick send.
First up is the awesome news that Epic TV athlete Jonathan Siegrist has sent his project. The climb is called Hyper Finale and is at Rawyl in Switzerland. The climb was originally bolted by Bertrand Martenet and hadn’t seen a first ascent until Jonathan stepped up to the mark. He’s been working it for a few weeks and recons it goes at ‘hard 9a’.
Next up is the sad news that Alex Puccio has picked up another serious injury. Having recovered from knee surgery she returned to her first IFSC Bouldering WC in Vail a few weeks ago. During the comp she struggled with some neck pain and was down on strength for the finals.
An MRI showed that she had a badly herniated disc that required immediate surgery Alex has had the surgery and seems in good spirits so we wish her all the best.
Ok, we have a sick send for you today from Fontainbleau and ‘The House’ production company. The climb is called L’impasse du Hasard, 7a+. Check out 'The House' Vimeo page here
