Rani Mukerji launched the first trailer of her forthcoming movie 'Mardaani' at the Yash Raj Films Studio in Mumbai on Tuesday.
This was Rani's first press conference post her wedding to YRF head honcho Aditya Chopra. The couple tied the knot at a private ceremony in Italy in April.
The 36-year-old was casually dressed for the event. She teamed up a distressed denim with a black vest and a white blazer combo. She completed the look with H0t pink Jimmy Choo 'Lance' sandals and a yellow circle 'Baby Coco' Rocio bag.
'Mardaani' features Rani as a dare devil cop. She plays Shivani Shivaji Roy, senior inspector of Mumbai crime branch. This will be her first stint as a cop, but is surely going to leave an everlasting impression with her role.
The movie is based on the story of child trafficking and is directed by Pradeep Sarkar. It will hit the theatres on August 22.
