This appears to be a pseudonym for the Lieutenant Matt orchestra, a band that recorded around 15 sides in 1921-1927. Some sources suggest this was itself a pseudonym for Adrian Schubert, but those credits are far from solid. The only certainty on this great 1927 recording here is vocalist Arthur Fields.
