An adventure-loving sea captain, Bill Jones, otherwise known as Capt. Calamity, accepts an old Spanish doubloon as payment from one of his passengers. When he attempts to then use it to pay off a debt, a group of opportunists gets the idea that the captain must be in possession of a huge treasure. They plan to steal it from him, but first they’ll have to get the better of the swashbuckling Captain.
