On Wednesday, Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly wore a spaghetti-strapped top while reporting on the Republican National Convention.
Many viewers took to social media to express their outrage over the fashion choice, as, apparently, that’s just not a conservative-approved garment.
Really. Somebody tweeted, “@megynkelly Put clothes on at the convention. We're conservative.”
Others seemed to be at odds with whether she was a serious journalist or the kind of person who shows their shoulders in public.
One Twitter user commented, “@FoxNews Still hard to take your coverage seriously when @megynkelly looks like she's working for an escort agency."
Another remarked, "You would think that a serious journalist would wear something more appropriate to a political event. It wasn't spring break!"
There were also those who seemed entirely unfamiliar with the clothing item worn by Kelly, calling the garment a bikini, a tankini, and a swimsuit.
