A story about how creative ideas can be forced on others, but are better shared; a fitting topic for the world's first truly open movie. Elephants Dream was created to fully show what is possible with Blender, an open-source 3D modelling program; what was created is a masterpiece.
Proog creates the fantastical "Machine" in his head, and attempts to show it to Emo, a younger man who is dissatisfied with it. Every time Emo tries to do anything with the Machine that is outside the box, Proog stops him, sometimes forcibly.
Proog represents that while his older ideas aren't necessarily bad ones, if shared with Emo rather than forced on him, his young mind could come up with something new from it.
