From the housewife who was jailed for stealing toys for her kids, to the MACC charging Bank Rakyatâs top brass, dare we believe that our country is upping the fight against ill-gotten gains and corruption? Or is this a false dawn?
The signs appear to be there: MACC says more people might be hauled in under the Bank Rakyat case, while even the Deputy PM has warned his ministry staff that corrupt activities could land them in prison.
But with the whales and the  biggie -- 1MDB -- still unresolved, could this be a false dawn?
