ASHEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA — A mother and son have been arrested in North Carolina for incest.
Melissa Nell Kitchens, 44, faces one felony of incest after warrants allege she had sex with her son Shaun Thomas Pfeiffer, 25, in August. He was also charged with one felony charge of incest along with charges of indecent liberties with a child, communicating threats, and being intoxicated and disruptive.
Pfeiffer reportedly lived at Kitchen’s home with his wife, Shannon Roman in Asheville. Pfeiffer has at least one child.
On a photo of Pfeiffer and his son posted to his Facebook page, Kitchen commented admiring her son and grandson. In one comment she wrote, “I can’t get over How Handsome You Are.” In two other comments, she continues to call him “handsome.”
No details have been provided as to how the allegations came to light.
