Cowboys defensive end Randy Gregory will be suspended for the first 14 games of the season. He was already suspended for the first four games for violating the league’s substance abuse policy stemming from a failed test in February. Another failed test in June led to a 10-game suspension, which he had appealed but he has now withdrawn it. By withdrawing his appeal, Gregory will miss 14 games, making it unlikely he will be able to play at all this season.
