​Amazing footage has emerged a group of hyenas and jackals fighting with some lions over a buffalo carcass.

The video, captured at the Kruger National Park in South Africa last month, shows ​the feeding frenzy witnessed by a group of tourists on safari.

The video begins with a group of lions fighting between themselves over the kill.

After the lions leave the carcass unattended, a pack of hyenas and jackals can be seen moving in and feasting upon it.

"This is absolutely astonishing," one of the tourists can be heard remarking.
