Sign o’ the Times, released on March 31, 1987, is the first album from Prince after his dissolution of The Revolution. Combining projects from a recently shelved Revolution album (Dream Factory), an alternate persona(Camille) and Crystal Ball, Prince planned on releasing a triple album eventually agreeing to trim it to a double.
