Billionaire Mark Cuban has been a vocal critic of Donald Trump, so his apparent excitement over scoring prime seating for the first presidential debate shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise.
On Thursday, Cuban tweeted, “Just got a front row seat to watch @HillaryClinton overwhelm @realDonaldTrump at the 'Humbling at Hofstra' on Monday. It Is On!"
The opportunity to watch the event live and up close came via the Clinton campaign.
One of its staffers said Cuban, “…has the best seat we have access to. He has proven to be singularly effective in making the case against Trump and for Clinton. That is why we invited him."
The debate will be held Monday evening at Hofstra University.
