WikiLeaks published its sixth batch of stolen John Podesta emails Thursday. In all, roughly 9,000 emails have been made public. But WikiLeaks has claimed to have 50,000 of Podesta’s messages, indicating that it intends to release them bit by bit for maximum political effect. The emails from Podesta’s gmail account reveal the ego-stroking and horse-trading involved in courting top supporters. In one 2015 email entitled, “Needy Latinos,” Podesta urged Clinton to call former Energy Secretary Fedrico Pena, who is “close to committing but carrying some baggage.”
