An amusing video has emerged of a dog angrily barking at an alarm clock.

The footage, shot on Wednesday in Detroit, USA, shows Zoë barking as her owner's alarm goes off.

"Zoë knows when the alarm clock goes off, it's time to get up and get ready for work," her owner wrote online.

"If she had it her way, she'd lay in bed all day."
