Amazon has plans of opening 2,000 Fresh grocery stores in the U.S. over the next 10 years, according to Business Insider. Amazon will open 20 stores over the next two years as a pilot program, featuring two different concepts. One concept is called a "click and collect" store, which will enable customers to place orders online and then pick them up. The second is similar to that of a traditional grocery store. According to BI, Amazon is contemplating whether or not make the stores exclusive to members of its grocery delivery service, Prime Fresh. The 20 test locations are expected to open in big cities like Seattle, New York, Las Vegas, Miami, and the Bay Area by 2018.
