Today's question, "What are the steps to finding Mr. Right or Mrs. Right?"
I've been in some relationships in which I hate. I'd wake up and wish I was single. All of the guys I've dated just don't meet my standards. How do you find Mr. Right? I could make a list right now of what I'm looking for in a guy but I still can't get to him. Can anyone help me?
It's often said that women are looking for themselves with a penis and guys are looking for themselves with a vagina, give or take the breasts.
The most important thing that you would ask yourself when
you're looking for Mr. Right and Mrs. Right is you want to ask yourself what are your guiding principles?
You know, as a matchmaker, many people come
to me with long lists of characteristics that they want, especially physical characteristics.
And what we have to keep in mind is that most of these characteristics are fleeting.
They will go away, they will disappear
The one thing I promise you will not disappear is what guides the person, what are their values
So what I asked all of my clients to do is to first sit down and reflect and this can take days if not weeks.
And ask yourself truly what are your values, what are the guiding principles of your life?
When I look back at all of the successful matches that I've made is what I've noticed that they're always seem to be emotional opposites.
There always seems to be someone who maybe is a bit extroverted, where the person is introverted, one person might be outspoken
But bottom line is you want to have someone that meets your values.
If you do that, I promise you that person will be your Mr. or Mrs. Right
