The Dow Jones industrial average closed at a record high on Thursday when it climbed 218 points, or 1.2%, to 18,807. Main contributors to these gains are IBM (34 points) and Goldman Sachs (52 points). "Equities are adjusting to change and uncertainty with a Trump presidency," said Terry Sandven, chief equity strategist at U.S. Bank Wealth Management. "There still needs to be more clarity and that's going to impact equity prices."
