A cute video has emerged of a pet tortoise eating a strawberry treat.

The footage, shot last week in California, USA, shows Herbie, a rescue tortoise, devouring the fruit before staring at his owner.

"He is enjoying his tasty treat until I couldn't help but laugh," the filmer wrote online.

"He stops attempting to eat his treat to give me the stink eye!"
