A heartwarming video has emerged of a man rescuing a trapped bird from a fishing line.

The video, shot in Slovenia, on August 25 shows the man saving the bird from drowning after it became trapped in a fishing line on the bank of the Bohini Lake.

With careful handling, the man managed to set the bird free and release it back into the wild.
