Ashton Kutcher shut down a protester who marched on stage during an Airbnb event, challenging the company's rental practices in the West Bank. The actor, who is an investor in the home rental company, quickly told the protester, “you actually don’t have the stage.” “We all can belong in a world together without borders,” Kutcher added in response to the incident. The protester, Ariel Gold, replied, "people should come before profits.” “We follow laws on where we can do business and we investigate specific concerns raised about listings and/or discrimination," an Airbnb spokesperson told Page Six.
