Speaking to The Washington Post Tuesday, House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy said he trusted the results of the election in his home state of California. “I looked at this election. I saw the results come in. I trusted them (the results) just as I’ve trusted them in the past,” McCarthy said. "I don’t have a problem," Asked if he saw any signs of fraud, McCarthy did not say yes or no, but replied, “I say let’s govern.” He added that he didn’t think a recount would make any difference in the election outcome. “The election to me is over," he said.
