World Chess Championship runner-up Sergey Karjakin gave himself an "A-" on his overall performance while speaking in an exclusive interview in the aftermath of the World Chess Championship in New York, following a 19 day match against Norwegian chess grandmaster Magnus Carlsen. Karjakin became a contender for Carlsen's chess crown following his wins at the Candidates Tournament 2016 in Moscow, but the Norwegian managed to retain his position as world number one.
