Bizarre footage has emerged of a man putting a one-metre-long firecracker between his legs and letting people light it, causing a massive explosion.

The video, captured in Xingtai, Hebei Province on Monday, shows a firecracker going off between the man's legs in front of a watching crowd.

Somehow it doesn't injure him.

According to reports, it was some kind of funeral performance.
