Mall Of America Ultimate Cake Decorating Competition\r
Watch professional cake decorators from the Upper Midwest Bakers Association compete to win $500 in prize money as they sculpt, ice and decorate cakes in the Rotunda. Decorators will compete in the birthday competition with this years theme of My Extreme Halloween. Teams will also be competing in the wedding competition to create a cake for our bride and groom, Wendy and Steve. This years competition includes 12 decorators in the birthday competition and 12 teams of decorators in the wedding competition that submitted portfolios to UMBA. The birthday competition starts at 11 a.m. and the wedding competition runs from 1- 4 p.m. While they decorate, kids can decorate their very own cupcake and get their picture taken with it in the photo booth.
