The NBA has stepped forward and admitted the the refs blew the call on the final play in the Warriors-Cavs game that took place on Christmas. On the play, Kevin Durant received an inbound pass and fell the the ground, tossing up a wild shot from his knees at the buzzer. Replays showed that Richard Jefferson made contact with Durant, causing him to stumble. While no foul was called during the game, the NBA said it was definitely a foul and should have been called. The game ended 109-108 in the Cavaliers favor and had the foul been called, Durant would have had a chance to go to the line and shoot two free throws. The NBA also admitted that LeBron James should have been assigned a technical foul earlier in the fourth quarter after hanging on the rim after a dunk.
