Rafa's leaving Mallorca motivated & without any physical issue. He won't return to Mallorca till after the Australian Open.
He's heading to AD as motivated as always. He's practiced well & quite hard for last month & a half & thinks he's ready to start the season.
Rafa already knows that he'll play in Brisbane on Tuesday & thus things will be a bit tight there depending on how is his run in Abu Dhabi.
(he'll only have one day to get adapted to Brisbane if he wins the 1st match in AD), but every match he adds in AD+Brisbane will be welcome.
Talking about the AO Rafa says it's the major where it's more difficult to know what will happen as, unlike RG or USO where you have time & many matches to build your form & know where you are, you just know how you've practiced, not your true form & thus you need a bit of luck to be able to compete in a few matches before the AO. He hopes that will be the case. The goal in Australia is to make a good tournament, advancing as far as possible & feeling he's ready to compete against everybody. That's what he hopes, then we'll have to see what happens.
Finally, Rafa wishes everybody a happy 2017 and, what's most important, he hopes 2017 is a year full of health & well being for everybody.
