चंडीगढ़ पंजाब :- से बड़ी खबर आ रही है। यहां एक कपड़ा व्यापारी के घर में छापे के दौरान दो करोड़ 19 लाख रुपये के नोट बरामद किए गए। बरामद रकम में 69 लाख की नई करेंसी है। बाकी बाकी की करेंसी पुराने नोटों में है, जिनमें 1000, 500, 100 और 50 के नोट शामिल हैं।

प्रवर्तन निदेशालय की टीम ने उक्त छापेमारी की और पूरी रकम को जब्त कर दिया। हवाला का पैसा होने का शक जताया जा रहा है। इंद्रपाल महाजन को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है। सेक्टर 17 थान में उसके खिलाफ केस दर्ज किया गया है।

जानकारी के मुताबिक छापामारी सेक्टर 22बी स्थित मकान नंबर 1435 में की गई। छापामारी देर रात तक चली। इस दौरान मिला इतना सारा पैसा देखकर अफसरों के होश उड़ गए। खबर लिखे जाने तक जांच चल रही है। इंद्रपाल का सेक्टर 30 में क्लॉथ हाउस है।
