Brock Osweiler's tenure with the Houston Texans didn't get off to the start both parties might've hoped but the ex-Denver Bronco now gets a chance to win his new team a playoff game against the Oakland Raiders. Texans coach Bill O’Brien announced on Tuesday that Osweiler will get the nod after replacing a concussed Tom Savage in Week 17. Following his benching in week 15 for Tom Savage, Osweiler went 21-40 with 253 yards and a touchdown in a losing effort against the Titans. The $72-million man is expected to be pitted against rookie Connor Cook on Saturday after injuries to Derek Carr and Matt McGloin.
