"If we had food, you wouldn't have saw us here." This is what the ten year old girl said while she was collecting bread crumbs off the ground with her brother in Al Hajar Al Aswad besieged neighbourhood in Damascus. There is no food and all means of communication have been cut. Everyone who could leave the neighbourhood left, except for the poor people who were left completely under siege by the Assad gangs, since allegedly, the neighbourhood sheltered FSA members.

Think!
Roughly one third of the food produced in the world for human consumption every year — approximately 1.3 billion tonnes — gets lost or wasted. Food losses and waste amounts to roughly US$ 680 billion in industrialized countries and US$ 310 billion in developing countries.

Least you can do is share this video to many people, donate generously and reduce food waste.
